Dance Dimensions is passionate about dance and seeks to inspire dancers of all levels, from the earliest beginners to those pursuing professional careers. We have over 30 years of success which is attributed to our professional staff who are creative, caring and take pride in knowing their greatest impact is made from teaching positive values. Many conventions and competitions have recognized our studio as one of the leaders in dance education in Upstate NY.

Leisja Wood
Leisja’s love and passion for dance began as she grew up dancing in the Rochester area. As an undergraduate at the University of Buffalo she continued her dancing and performed with the Zodiaque Dance Company. Leisja is an accomplished dancer with over thirty years of dance training in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical, modern, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater and acrobatics. Some of her performance credits including the musical Annie at SUNY Brockport, the Nutcracker with the Connecticut and Hartford Ballet Company, Rochester Red Wings dance team and the USA’s World Champion Jazz Team. Leisja has a true passion for teaching and it shows as her students and choreography have won numerous high score and dance excellence awards including technique, choreography and entertainment both regionally and nationally. She stays current with styles and techniques continuing her training attending master classes and workshops around the country with many of the industry’s leading choreographers. She loves watching her students grow artistically and sharing her passion for dance. Some of her students have continued on with dance performing on college dance teams, cruise ships, dancing in Las Vegas, appearing in tv shows, movies, dancing for Lady Gaga, Jenifer Lopez, dancing with the Zurich junior ballet company, and some have become dance teachers too.
Valerie Beckman
Valerie has studied dance for twenty nine years and has training in jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, lyrical, modern, contemporary, acrobatics and hip hop. Valerie has fifteen years of teaching experience. She is an accomplished dancer receiving many regional and national awards and honors at competitions. She also was a member of the NDA national champion high school dance team. In 2016, Valerie toured with Svet, a renowned hip-hop violinist from America’s Got Talent. Recently her students have won special awards and high score regional competitions. Valerie loves to share her passion for dance with her students.
Gina Curbelo
Gina Curbelo has been dancing her whole life and has been teaching for eight years. In the Rochester area, she has trained in jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, lyrical, modern, contemporary, acrobatics, musical theater and hip hop at Dance Dimensions. Gina is an accomplished dancer receiving many platinum and high score awards at regional and national competitions and has been awarded the title of top soloist. She has been awarded scholarships to attend several national dance conventions in the country. Gina has received her BFA in Dance at SUNY Brockport. As an undergraduate she was a part of the Brockport Dance Team. Also, she was selected out of many students to be in a creative process with Cameron McKinney, artistic director of New York City’s Kizuna Dance. She has been featured in many pieces at Rochester’s Fringe Festival. To further her training in commercial dance, she travelled to Los Angeles to train with renowned choreographers Nicole Kirkland and Dexter Carr. Gina continues to guest teach at studios in the Rochester area to further her training as a choreographer.
Madison Beckman
Madison was born into a dancing family and has been dancing since she was two and a half years old. She has training in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, modern, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, acrobatics and hip hop. Madison has been a substitute dance teacher for many years with a wonderful rapport with the students. She is an accomplished dancer who received many outstanding awards during her competitive years, at both a regional and national level. She has participated in Jump, Nuvo, Tremaine, and 24seven dance conventions where she was recognized by Allison Holker. Madison is very excited to share her love of dance with her students.
Megan Nowacki
Megan began dancing at age 3 and is a Dance Dimensions by Susan alumni. After graduation,she went on to study at Nazareth college and began to teach at DDBS. She was a four year member of the Nazareth College Dance Team and two year captain and choreographer. Grad school in Buffalo took her away from teaching dance, but she is glad to be back at the studio! Outside of teaching , she is a doctor of audiology at a private practice in Victor.
Megan loves to share her passion for dance with her students and she is so lucky to be able to watch them grow. She is grateful for all that her dance teachers have taught her and hopes to spread that knowledge to her students.

Private/Semi-Private Classes Offered:
Solo
(1/2 hour class)- Private and Semi-Private lessons are given only in addition to a child’s class lesson and at the discretion of the studio director. In addition, participation in a ballet class is required.
Duet
(1/2 hour class)- Private and Semi-Private lessons are given only in addition to a child’s class lesson and at the discretion of the studio director. In addition, participation in a ballet class is required.
Trio
